Dental Assistant

Duties
– Assist the dentist during dental procedures
– Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
– Take and develop dental x-rays
– Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical coding and documentation of treatments
– Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
– Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment
– Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
– X-ray certification
– Proficiency in taking and developing dental x-rays
– Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy laws
– Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic, Eaglesoft)
– Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages
– Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
